Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park

In early March, flowers 🌸are blooming all over China, and Shenzhen, just across the river from Hong Kong, is no exception! If you're thinking of taking a short trip up north to enjoy the flowers this spring, you'll want to bookmark the following spots!

The Huifang Garden, located in the Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park, is a Lingnan garden with a Chaoshan style. Combining the regional characteristics, architectural style and human landscape of the Chaoshan region in Guangdong, the garden introduces folk crafts that are on the verge of being lost into the garden to create a Lingnan garden with a "Chaoshan style".

The most beautiful scenery in Huifang Garden is the spring blooming of Leucadendron, also known as the delphinium. Pink and white cuspidata are found all over the garden, with those in Huifang Garden being the most luxuriant. Like waterfalls pouring down from the ancient eaves, the beautiful azaleas are set off by the flying arches and colourful carved white walls, making them poetic and picturesque, full of the beauty of classical Chinese style.

Flowering period: Mid-March to early April
Transport: Shenzhen Metro Line 1 "Zhuzilin Station" Station
