The International Sheng and Reeds Festival, conceptualized by Yan Huichang (Artistic Director and Principal Conductor for Life), will be held both in-person and online, with Hong Kong serving as the main hub and connecting events across various regions. This festival uniquely integrates culture, sports, and tourism.

Resident Conductor of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra Quek Ling Kiong will take the audience to a fun and interesting musical adventure to explore on the kaleidoscope of percussion instruments. Along the journey, we will hear beautiful pieces such as A Musical Adventure, Radetzky-Marsch and Golden Snake Dance etc. Let’s explore the colorful Percussion Kaleidoscope together!

The words of lyricist Cheng Kwok-kong have warmed the hearts of generations of Hong Kongers. In this concert, we collaborate with the Hong Kong Children's Choir to recreate the childhood moments of Purity listening to Cheng's songs, including 'The Legend of Wonder Lady', 'The Understudy',' Hope', and 'Reverie' etc.
