About the Visit︰
Yakult was established in Hong Kong in 1969, with the completion of the Tai Po factory in 1994. Having undergone over 50 years of operational changes, Yakult has always insisted on manufacturing in Hong Kong to produce high-quality and fresh products.
The factory has a specially designed tour route where Yakult staff will guide visitors in a relaxed and lively manner to learn about the story of Yakult, the benefits of active lactic acid bacteria, and the true value of the products. Visitors can also experience the manufacturing process of Yakult firsthand. As of October 2025, the total number of visitors to the Yakult factory tours has reached 1,124,784.

Points to note to travel agents and visitors︰
- Travel agents must arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled visiting time to avoid disruption of the following tour arrangements. Should a group arrive at 30 minutes or more after the scheduled commencement time of the visit, the TIC and Yakult reserves the right to cancel the reservation and consider it as no-show without any re-arrangement.
- Travel agents must present the reservation confirmation email and/or identification documents (e.g., tour guide license) for verification.
- Tour groups must be accompanied by at least one licensed tour guide during the visit.
- The factory provides a drop-off area for tourist buses. The travel agency is responsible for arranging parking and transportation, as well as ensuring that safety measures are in place.
- Visitors must comply with the Brand's rules and follow instructions by the staff on-site. Do not enter any forbidden areas. Unauthorized activities, speeches, or public performances are strictly prohibited within the premises.
