Hong Kong Industrial Brand Tourism
The Government's "Working Group on Developing Tourist Hotspots" announced 9 tourism hotspot projects in May 2025 to offer inbound visitors with a diverse range of travel experiences. "Hong Kong Industrial Brand Tourism" (Industrial Tourism) is one of the projects with an aim to showcase Hong Kong's industrial story that fully embodies the spirit of the Lion Rock. The travel trade are encouraaged to form groups to develop "Made in Hong Kong" industrial tourism, creating hotspots for visitors to tour, experience and shop.
The Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC), as the implementing body of this project, has launched a dedicated booking platform on GreaterGo. The platform provides details on available visiting slots and feature the highlights of visits to the participating industrial brands, enabling licensed travel agents to easily make reservations for inbound tour groups.
A trial lauch has been commenced. Eligible Travel agents are welcome to submit bookings for the guided-tours. Details are as follows:
🎫 Eligibility of Applicants
The Applicant must fulfil the following conditions concurrently:
- Must hold a valid Travel Agent's Licence issued by the Travel Industry Authority under the Travel Agents Ordinance (Cap. 634) at the time of application and when operating the relevant tour;
- Must have experience in operating inbound tourism business;
- Participants of the tour must be inbound visitors.

Lee Kum Kee was founded in 1888 and aims to share its century-old history through Industrial Brand Tourism, allowing visitors to experience the heritage and innovation of Hong Kong’s industry. During the tour, visitors can learn about the traditional tools used in sauce production and witness the fully automated manufacturing process of Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce. There will also be a tasting session for visitors to experience the high-quality products of the brand. Additionally, Lee Kum Kee is offering a shopping experience with limited-edition souvenirs available for visitors to purchase after the tour. |
